Does a meat-rich diet have an adverse impact on our environment? Does it contribute to global warming?
Yes meat rich diet doesn't affect directly to the environment but indirectly. More meat eating population mean there is more need of meat right? So we need more herd of animals to farm. If we need more animals to farm we need more space. If we compare the agriculture and animal farming in general one field of crop takes less space then 1 farm of animals. So more land to farm these animals means more deforestation and destruction of natural habitat which greatly affects the environment leading to Global Warming.
Hope this helps, Good luck!!!!
