We can use specific cells (as Biologic) like macrophage or endothelial cells or any other cell that you want to testify. After getting cells, you need to infect you cells with Ebola virus to see the effects on specific cell under controlled condition in vitro. We see the effect in cells in response to virus infect and cells defense mechanism pathway will be hyperactive to cope up with the situation. Different immune response would be there and in response to viral agents these cells will produce antibodies to cope up with the infection.

Other than this, we can also use this approach for production of new medicine, vaccine and targeted therapies. Similar approach scientist follow for drug discovery and collection of more information from for specific pathogen.
