Why do bodies of water act as a heat bank?
How does carbon move through the carbon cycle?
What is the interplay between photosynthesis and global warming?
1) It might be due to the high specific heat capacity of water.
That it can absorb large amount of heat during day time without changing temperature, (and the opposite process happening in night time.)
2) Carbon moves from atmosphere to plants, via photosynthesis(carbondioxide is fixed) and then it can reaches to animal(then again to atmosphere by animal decomposition)
3) By photosynthesis the fixation of atmospheric carbondioxide is takes place. And carbondioxide is one of the major gas which increasing the global temperature.
So photosynthesis play a major role in fixing carbondioxide and decreasing global warming.
