In a pedigree chart it is noted that both male and female children are equally affected with a trait that at least one of their parents has. This trait must be governed by _____________ inheritance.

Answer #1

Answer autosomal dominant inheritance

In autosomal disease pattern both males and females are equally affected , in sex linked recessive traits males are more often affected and in sex linked dominant traits ,females are more often affected than males .

It is not autosomal recessive because in that case it is not necessary for one one the parents to be affected.

Offsprings born to unaffected parents can also be affected .

If thIs helps please give it a positive rating thank you!
