syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease that is transmitted by a bacterial pathogen Treponema pallidum. Syphilis is passed from person to person through direct contact with an infected person(syphilitic sore). it occurs mainly on the external genitals, vagina, anus, or in the rectum but can also occur on the lips and in the mouth. Transmission of the pathogen can be transferred during vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

Syphilis can be prevented by the following methods.
By always use condoms
By limit, the number of people you have intercourse with, and just have sex with one partner who isn't already infected
