At what stage(s) of the cell cycle are microtubules visible using a light microscope?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In the metaphase state the microtubules can be visible under light microscope. Because in this stage the chromosomes are came into the middle line of the cell and the microtubules are attached with the chromosomes. Actually the microtubules help to give the shape of the cell which is called as a cytoskeleton of cell. But in cell division at metaphase they connected with the microtubules and start moving to the both poles of the cell. Finally here we can see the microtubules easily under light microscope.
