Ans. The term Antibiotic and Antibacterial are the same, as they both are defined as the type of antimicrobial substance that are active against the bacteria. Used to fight bacterial infection and antibiotic medications by killing or inhibiting the bacteria.

They prevent the bacterial infections by attacking the cell wall or coating around of the bacteria, or interfering the reproduction or replication of bacterias in the body and block protein production in the bacteria which lead them to die.

Examples : Antibacterial products

Handwash, Soaps, Hand lotion, Senitizer, Window cleaner, Detergents, Surface spray, mouthwash, toothpastes, Disinfectants etc.
