Possible errors encountered during LDH assay:

1. This assay is mmostly limited to low-serum or sreum-free conditions becuse some other compounds and the serum has the tendency of inherent LDH activity.

2. Determination of cell death is no longer allowed under normal growth condition which reduces the scope of the assay.

3. Both effector cells and target cells used for the study may interact with one another in their pre-determined ratio used for the culture and hence the maximum release of the targeted cells are found to be low.
