Answer #1

Answer: option (d)

Explanation:

Plants can have interactions that lead to Benifit of both the plants, benefit of one and harm to the other and can also compete for food resources.

Example : 2 plants planted nearby compete for nutrient intake.

Other example is Orchid plant growing on branch of other tree. This benefits the orchids and the tree is not benifitted.

Many times small plants grow on large trees to get nutrients and sunlight. Their can be parasitism or commensalism.

Two plants can also exchange nutrients to benefit each other. It is called mutualism.

For example: nitrogen fixing plant and other plant can have mutualistic relationship for nutrient intake.
