Problem in blood clotting is termed as hemophilia. A man gets X chromosome from the mother and Y chromosome from the father. Since the father has the gene for hemophilia,then the genotype of the father is XhY. But the father transfers only Y chromosome to the son hence the genotype of the son will be normal XHY.Since the hemophilia genes are recessive hence in females two pairs of Xh gene is required to cause the disorder.But in this case the woman's genotype is XhXH making her as a carrier of the gene for hemophilia with normal blood clotting .
