How does parent height influence offspring height? Is offspring height tightly linked to genetics or is some of the variation in height related to environment?

The height is related with the both genetics and withn the enviournmental facts.The genetics facts are majorly (80%) is responsible where as the enviournmental factor is very minor (20%) is reponsible for the height of any children.

The genes or the functional DNA from the father is known to be responsible for determination of height of the offspring. Actually there are large number of gene which are responsible for determination of height of a child.The other factor or the enviournmental factors mainly the nutrition related facts are responsible for 20% with the offspring's height.

So the gene from the parents (father) is responsible for influencing height in the offspring.
