Answer #1

The Kirby-Bauer method  known as the disk diffusion method, is the most widely used antibiotic  test sensitivity in determining what choice of antibiotics should be used when treating an infection

Mueller-Hinton agar (MHA) is the best medium to use for routine antimicrobial susceptibility testing using Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method for nonfastidious bacteria (both aerobe and facultative anaerobe)

In the past, students who have had organisms grow all over a Mueller Hinton plate without any antibiotics, but then they don’t grow at all on a plate when we include antibiotic disks. How would you interpret this? On the chance that you interpreted this as it being incredibly susceptible to one or more of the antibiotics – how would you go about discovering which one?
