What type of energy transformation takes place during cellular
respiration?
Use complete sentences to explain how energy is conserved during
cellular respiration.
During cellular respiration there is the conversion of glucose to another form of compound with high energy bonds (adenosine triphosphate) that can be used by the body.During cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen are converted into carbon dioxide and water, and the energy is then transferred to usable form of energy known as ATP.
Energy is oxidized to carbon dioxide and water, and is transferred due to breaking of matter into simpler molecules while some are converted and released as heat and then converted into glucose. In cellular respiration chemical energy from oxygen molecules or nutrients into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and then release waste products.By all this process we can infer that energy is conserved during cellular respiration.
