Answer #1

We can used ocular micrometre to measure cell size. An ocular micrometre is basically a tiny ruler etched into one of the ocular lenses; it can give you a better estimate of a cell.

An ocular micrometre is a glass disk that fits in a microscope eyepiece that has a ruled scale, which is used to measure the size of magnified objects . The physical length of the marks on the scale depends on the degree of magnification.

The exact size of a microorganisms or cells can be determined by utilising a calibrated ocular micrometre . Calibration of ocular micrometre is done by another stage micrometre. A stage micrometre is the term typically refering to a slide that comes with a scale on it's surface. The inscribed lines on a stage micrometre are exactly 0.01 mm.
