Please show WORK!

In some horses, coat color is autosomal and exhibits incomplete dominance, with palamino coloration intermediate to both chestnut and cremello coloration. Horses can also exhibit an immunodeficiency syndrome inherited as an X-linked recessive allele. You are a horse breeder, and cross a palamino female carrier for immunodeficiency syndrome with a normal, cremello male.

1. Use appropriate genetic notation to describe genotypes of the cross.

2. If you conducted this cross many times, what would be the expected phenotypic offspring ratio? Be sure to identify which genotype is associated to each phenotype, and differentiate between male and female offspring.

3. What is the probability of obtaining offspring that both breed true for coat color AND does not possess the immunodeficiency allele?

Many types of snapdragons show incomplete dominance with reference to flower color. If a pure breeding line of red snapdragons is crossed with a pure breeding line of white snapdragons, the offspring will all be pink in color. A. Set up this genetic cross showing the genotypes of the parents and the genotypes of the F1 offspring B. WHat proportions of flower colors would you expect among the offspring of the following crosses: Red X Pink, Pink X Pink, Pink...

In horses, the Overo gene, Ov, produces a white splotch pattern on the coat. The overo phenotype is seen only when a horse has one Ov copy, Ovov. Horses with two Ov copies, OvOv, die soon after birth and are called white overo because they are completely white. Horses with no Ov copies are solid colored, ovov. The Leopard complex gene, Lp, shows incomplete dominance and controls white spotting. One Lp allele, Lplp, produces the leopard phenotype, in which there...

1) In cattle, there is no dominance between the alleles for red coat (W) and white coat (c). The heterozygote is intermediate or "roan" in color. a) Give the genotypic and phenotypic ratios to be expected following a mating between two roan animals. b) What are the expected genotypic and phenotypic ratios from a cross between a roan animal and a white one? 2) In cattle, the hornless condition (H) is dominant to that for the possession of horns (h)....

3a. In a certain breed of dog long hair is dominant over short hair; the gene involved is autosomal. Another gene, B controls hair colour, which is X-linked, one allele B1 produces gray coloured hair; the other allele B2 produces red coloured hair; and the heterozygous combination B1B2 produces brindle coloured hair (a mix with patches of both gray and red coloured hairs). If a red male homozygous for long hair is mated with a brindle short-haired female, what kind...

Simple Dominance with 2 genes A gene in cats causes them to be black (dominant) or brown (recessive). A second gene causes cats to be agouti (have stripes on their hairs) or non-agouti (solid colored hairs). If you did a dihybrid cross between two black haired agouti cats, what fraction of the offspring would be expected to have each phenotype? If a dihybrid black agouti cat mated with a brown cat that was heterozygous for the agouti gene, what fraction...
