Answer: Coliform bacteria are the microorganisms present in environment and in the faces of warm blooded animals and humans. Normal drinking water should be absence of coliform bacteria. The presence of facial coliform bacteria in the drinking water is an indication of contaminated water. Drinking of such water is detrimental for health. So one should care the drinking water in terms of growing coliform bacteria in water, use only those water in which there is no such indication.
