Describe the difference between density dependent and independent factors with respect to how they regulate the size of a population
5 sentences
Let me first start with density dependent factors. As the name suggests density dependent factors are the factors whose effect on the growth of population depends on the density of that population , for eg. Availability of food. As the density of the population increases, not every individual will get the food as the food is limited hence the size of population will decrease.
Density independent factors are the factors whose effect on the growth of population is independent on the density of that population, for eg. Weather and climate, which will affect the population regardless of density.
