Colour blindness is the X linked recessive trait. Female with normal vision (XcX), whose father was colorblind (XcY). Therefore, the female would be a career for the colorblind. Carrier female breeds with colorblind male (XcY). Therefore, offspring would be XcXc; XcX; XcY; XY. therefore 50% chances that their first child (either daughter or son) would be colorblind.
