Sensation in an organ generates the action potential which stimulates the sensory receptor.The action potential is then carried by the sensory neuron to the posterior horn of the spinal cord,where it synapses on an interneuron.The interneuron synapses with the motor neuron in the anterior horn of spinal cord.The motor neuron then carried the information from the interneuron to the effector organ.
