Explain why fox were introduced to the Aleutian Islands
Foxes were introduced to Aleutian islands by an Russian- American compay for their business purpose. The reason for introducing Foxes to the Aleutian island is establishing fur ranches. This is done in the year of 1886.
The foxes are initially present in yhe Arctic region and they shifted to Aleuitian islands for farming the fur.
The shifting of foxes by fur trade of alaska to Aleutian island reduced the breeding sea birds. Because the foxes were used seabirds for their predation. So the foxes lives in the Aleutian Alaska martime National wildlife refuge lost the vegetation. The island transformed to low productive plant communities.
