To simulate Telophase and Cytokinesis:

  1. Draw the chromosomes decondensing, beside their closest centriole.
  1. Draw a new nuclear membrane around each set of chromosomes.
  1. Imagine a cleavage furrow developing between each nuclei and separating the cell into two daughter cells. Note how each cell now contains two red and two yellow chromosomes, as well as one centrosome, exactly like the cell with which you began.
  1. Draw your simulation of telophase/cytokinesis, and in your own words, provide a brief description of what happens.

Answer #1

telophase is best known for the decondensing of chromosomes were the spindle fibres contracts and the chromosomes are wrapped around the two poles i.e, centrioles also at the end of telophase the nuclear envelope starts to develope and separated pairs of chromosomes starts to shrink together.

In the beginning of cytokinesis the formation of contractile rings occurs which slowly separates the cell into two different daughter cells having haploid set of chromosomes, a single nuclei and a complete nuclear envelope around them along with a centrosome at the. Thus two daughter nucleus is formed at the end of cytokinesis both having the equal amount of haploid chromosomes condensed into chromatin material.
