I want to know what the function of CD4 and CD8 will be when it enters the cell of the body infected with coronavirus and shows symptoms or when it enters the cell of the body infected with coronavirus but there are no symptoms

The T helper cells als known as CD4 cells are type of T cell that play a important role in the immune system , particularly in the adaptive immune system .They help the activity of other immune cells by releasing T cells cytokines. These cells help suppress or regulate immune responses. They are crucial in achieving a regulated effective immune response to pathogens.

2.CD8 T cells are able to release their granules ,kill an infected cell,then move to a new target and kill again ,often referred to as serial killing. The major function of CD8 T cell is destruction of infected cells is viaFas/Fasl interactions.
