why does replicative transposition cause more genetic change when compared to simple transposition
Question
The replicative transposition is one where there is a multiple copies of transposon in the DNA as compare to simple transposon where single transposon is present. The replicative transposon cause more genetic change as it involve transposase enzyme that insert many transposon in the DNA whereas simple transposition involve cut and paste mechanism to insert transposon. Therefore more genetic change is incorporated in case of replicative transposition.
