ARD stands for Analytical Research & Development. In a pharmacuetical company, the ARD team has an important role to play. As they have to measure all the limitations and unwanted side effects for a drug that is to be produced by the pharmaceutical company. Analytical Research and Development involves pre-formulation, stability and degradation studies on APIs and other drugs, and preparation of technical dossiers for registration in India and other countries.
