Imidazoquinoline are effective to treat cancer mainly on skin areas. It is synthetic agonists for TLR 7/8and include Imiquimod, gardiquimod and resiquimod are important compounds. In which imiquid is most widely accepted. These are mainly used against basal carcinoma, and intraepithelial carcinoma.

   Imiquimod has a antitumorous effect exerted by the modification of the immune response and stimulation of apoptosis.Imidazoquinoline drug activates Toll-like receptor -7 and have bothantiviral anti tumerous property.
