As the introns are 2 x 150 = 300bp long that is removed from the 1500 base which will leave 1500-300= 1200 base pairs and since each codon/amino acid is coded by 3 nucleotide, the number of aminoacids should be:

1200/3 = 400 amino acids.

And since there is a stop codon at the end that does not code for any amino acid, 1 amino acid will be removed so,

400-1 = 399 amino acids.
