Triploblastic:- they have 3 germ layers:- ectoderm,mesoderm and endoderm . animals from phylum Platyhelminthes to phylum chordata.

cephalochordates are multicellular organisms.only porifera are unicellular organisms.

they show chemoheterotrophic nutrition :- filter feeder system to consume microorganisms.

they are aquatic :- marine , brackish water .they are active swimmers.

Both the adult and larva are motile( mobile).

cephalochordates are acraniates ( Don't have cranium ) they have persistent notochord .
