Virtual microscope enable detailed stydying of specimen whenever and can be manipulated to visualize from a different angle. It also permit to target a certain spot of a specimen for detailed analysis. It is based on computer technology  aims to explore the pre-captured image data as if they were using the real instrument in real-time. It is provided with facilities like loading/unloading specimens, to magnify specific spot on that specimen, adjust magnification and image parameters, to change focus, analyzing elemental composition and measuring features, and to render data in three dimensions.
