SKIN:

     The skin is the largest organ that protects all internal organs of the body. Its function's makes it a vital organ of the body. The functions include:

• Protection----- from microbes, chemicals, physical agents, dehydration.
• Regulation and Control of body temperature, Heat production Heat loss
• Formation of Vitamin D,
• Sensation, Absorption and Excretion.

NAILS:

• The nails in human beings are equivalent to the claws, horns and hoofs of animals.
• They protect the tips of the fingers and toes.

HAIR:

• The hair is formed by a down-growth of epidermal cells into dermis or subcutaneous tissue, called hair follicles. It is involved in the protection
• It helps in the evaporation of perspiration
• Regulation of body temperature
