According to Lamarck's view of evolution,

  • There present an internal vital force in all organism
  • According to need of organism, or environmental condition organism develop new structure and the structure can be degenerated if not continously used.
  • All acquired traits are transferred into next generation .
  • Lamarck doesnot believe in the survival of fittest and struggle for existence.

Darwin's view of evolution

  • He doesnot believe in presence of an internal force in an organism.
  • A new structure will develop only due to continous variation.
  • Only useful and some traits are inherited to next geneartion.
  • He believed in the concept of survival of fittest and struggle for existence.
