The fibrous joints do not have any cavity, and connect the bones via forming the dense fibrous connective tissue between them, and generally are immovable. Example :- sutures between the skull bones.
The cartilaginous joint of the body are composed of fibrocartilage or hyaline cartilage, and provide the a certain level of mobility to the articulating structures. Example :- synchondrosis joint between sternum and ribs
The synovial joints are more specific than other, because they have a synovial cavity filled with lubricating synovial fluid inside, and allows the articulating structures to move freely in along their axis. Example :- shoulder joint.
