in a cell that has no mitochondria in how many ways can the cell produce energy from different organic molecules?

Answer #1

ANSWER :

Almost eukaryotic cells have one or more mitochondria in their cytoplasm and produce a large amount of energy for cellular processes via aerobic respiration, but if a cell does not have any mitochondrion inside then it would only be able to generate a small amount of cellular energy via anaerobic respiration (e.g.- alcoholic and lactate fermentation) that performs in the absence of oxygen. Example :- Erythrocytes (RBCs) of blood do not have any mitochondria, hence depends on the lactic acid fermentation to produce cellular energy.
