Explain the difference between and describe Tachyzoites and Bradyzoites,

• Taxoplasma gondii is a parasite , which can exist in three forms , they are :- The tachyzoites,  bradyzoites and oocyst.
• This Bradyzoites are converted into tachyzoites and it is highly infective .

Tachyzoites

1. In this stage it divide quickly.
2. It is present in vacuole of a cell.
3. It directly kills the reticuloendothelial cells.
4. This phase is identified as acute phase of infection.
5. Can be removed by drug.

Bradyzoites

1. In this stage it divide slowly.
2. It is present in tissue cyst.
3. It block blood vessel and cause inflammation .
4. This phase is the chronic phase of infection.
5. Cannot be removed by drug.
