Answer #1

Lymphatic circulation does not has much connection with pulmonary or respiratory system . Fluid homeostasis and host defense are two critical roles for the lung,in addition to gas exchange.

Main function of lymphatic system is to drain fulid from tissues and return back to vascular circulatory system .

The lymph is drained from the lung through two distinct but interconnected set of lymphatic vessels.ie,within the lung and mediastinum.Lymph node have the filtering action on the lymph before it is returned to the through the major lymphatic vessels called bronchomedisstinal trunk.
