Ans- proprioception
Proprioception is the sense or awareness of the position or movement of the body. In other words it simply means, the ability to sense stimuli arising within body regarding position, motion and equilibrium and proprioceptors are sensory receptors which detect these changes. There are different types of proprioceptors like 'muscle spindles' which detect how muscle is stretched, 'golgi tendon organs' which detect tension of muscle on its organ, providing information about strength of contraction and tension, and 'joint kinesthetic receptors' which detect angle and movement of joint.
