Answer: The negative feedback system is used to maintain the balanced internal environment in the body. It is defined as increase or decrease in stimulus. The level of glucose is maintained by the negative feedback. If the glucose level is high the cell of the pancreas increases the insulin content in the body it reduces the level of blood glucose and the glucose content is reduced the insulin level is to be reduced.

From the question, the person is hyperglycemic so the pancreas secretes the insulin to reduce the level of glucose. This is the process that the body maintain homeostasis when the glucose level is maintained through negative feedback mechanism.
