Spermatogonium is the diploid mother cell which undergoes mitosis and forms primary spermatocytes( diploid) .Primary spermatocytes undergo meiosis to form haploid secondary spermatocytes. These give rise to spermatids. Spermatids undergo spermiation to form spermatozoa which are released into the lumen of seminiferous tubules in the testes and are now matured Male gamete called sperms.

These sperms or male gametes now follows this pathway and comes out of male body through ejaculation:

  • Seminiferous tubules
  • Rete testis
  • Vas effferens
  • Head of epididymis
  • Duct of epididymis
  • Vas deferens
  • Ampulla
  • Ejaculatory duct
  • Urethra
  • Urethral opening
  • Out through ejaculation
