The afferent neurons are the sensory neurons which carries nerve
impulses from sensory stimuli towards the central nervous system
(CNS) and brain, while the efferent neurons are motor neurons which
carries neural impulses away from the central nervous system (CNS)
and towards muscles to cause movement. The dendrites recieves the
neuron signals and the axon transmits the neuron signals.
The interneurons are the central nodes of neural
circuits which enables communication between the motor or sensory
neurones and the central nervous system.
