  • It serves as a pivot and it allows head to move forward and backward

  • The atlas and axis from the atlanto axial joint allows the side to side movements when we say "no".

  • The vestibular system (the two otolith organs called the saccule and utricle) is a sensory system that is responsible for to send the signals to brain information about motion.
