ANSWERS

The POSTERIOR/DORSAL root and horn recieves SENSORY signals, while the ANTERIOR /VENTRAL root and horns project MOTOR signals.

Spinal nerves are mixedn nerves that send motor, sensory, and autonomic signals between the CNS and the body. They are part of peripheral nervous system. Each spinal nerve is formed by the combination of nerve fibers from the dorsal (posterior) and ventral (anterior)roots of the spinal cord.

The posterior root is the sensory (afferent) root that recieves sensory informations from other areas of the body to brain . The anterior root is the motor (efferent) root that carries motor information to the body from the brain.

Design a filter circuit to remove the noise signals while selectively amplifying the high-frequency signals by at least a factor of 100. The low-frequency noise signal has its peak energy in the vicinity of 20 Hz, and has fallen to less than 1 % of its maximum by 1 kHz. The engine failure signals begin in the vicinity of 25 kHz.

The Also Horns Corp. is planning on introducing a new line of saxophones. They expect sales to be $400,000 with total fixed and variable costs representing 70% of sales. The discounted rate of the unlevered equity is 17%, but the firm plans to raise $144,385 of the initial $450,000 investment as 9% perpetual debt. The corporate tax rate is 40% and the target debt to asset (or value) ratio is 0.3. In addition to the information above, suppose the APV...

A person always use a sample size between cube root N and square root N, where N is the size of the population that he/she investigates. In which situations, he/she should use a correction factor for the variance of the sampling distribution while estimating a confidence interval for mean of population? What occurs when she does not use this correction factor, which problems may occur?
