Injury of Deltoid would prevent lateral abduction of shoulder from (0-15 degrees OR 15-90 degrees) ?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Deltoid muscle are important muscles of the shoulder which helps in its movement. The deltoid muscles helps with the arm abduction and it is of three types. The anterior deltoid muscle helps in medial rotation of the shoulder joint and helps with inward movement of the arms. The lateral deltoid muscle helps in lateral movement of the arm outwards and this type of movement is called abduction. The posterior deltoid muscles helps in lateral joint movement and enables the movement of arm backward and outward. Generally, it is the middle fibers located within the deltoid muscles and they help with the abduction movement which enables the rotation of 15 to 90 degrees. When there is injury to the deltoid muscles, it prevents the lateral abduction of the shoulder which ranges from 15 to 90 degrees.

A sample was taken with 15 observations of soil tests from North Carolina rural yards. We would like to determine whether there is reason to believe the nitrate levels differ from the national average. Our sample average shows 8.19 parts per million (ppm) nitrate concentration with a sample standard deviation of 3.95 ppm. Suppose the national average for rural yard is 6.25 ppm. Conduct the hypothesis test using a 90% confidence level and answer the following questions. For all numbers,...
