Please read the numbered line story below. Based upon your
knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology as presented
in this course, please provide comprehensive responses to each
question presented.
1) It is the fight or flight response of sympathetic nervous system.
Here, adrenaline increases heart rate sending blood to major muscle groups to prepare gor action. This causes rapid heart rate ,pounding, palpitations of heart. In eyes, tunnel vision occurs ie, peripheral vision is diminished so that sight is centrally focussed and pupils of eye widen to focus to let more light to get in.This causes the eyes to wide open.
2)During fight and flight mode, the muscles tend to prepare for a quick departure and make body more resilient to attack, thus the muscles gets ached, shivering and tensed and thus prevents in further movement.
3) During fight and flight mode ,rapid breathing helps to divert blood to vital organs and so causes shortness of breath causing breathing heavily to gasp mor air.
