When an individual is having a fever it is a specific sign that something wrong is going on in the body. In an adult, a fever can be very uncomfortable, and when the temperature exeeds more than normal that is above 98.6° F then it is called fever

A fever can never be said as productive or non productive but the accompanying cough that come with the fever can be productive or non productive .

A productive cough occur when the chest of the individual become filled with secretion due to the infection . So in this condition there will be productive cough along with fever
