Pathway of blood from aorta to wrist And then
back:
Blood starts in the left ventricle and leaves into the arch of
aorta and from there, it enters the brachiocephalic artery.
From the brachiocephalic artery, it goes into the right
subclavian artery.
From there, it travels through the armpit into the upper arm,
the blood passes from subclavian artery to the right axillary and
right brachial arteries.
Finally, the blood flows through the right ulnar artery until
reaching the wrist.
To get back to the heart from the wrist, the blood first
travels through the right ulnar vein and then to right brachial
vein.
The brachial vein then turns into right axillary and subclavian
veins and finally reaches right brachial cephalic vein and then
blood enters superior vena cava of heart.
