The statement descripts about the subjective beauty and denies of objective beauty.

Subjective beauty explains the subjective experience and not everyone can find the same thing in the same way. Individuals have their own different opinions and preferences. In objective sense, it means that the object is the one which causes such experiene. In subjective case, it is possibly to disagree and argue about beauty of a thing. On the other hand, it is also meaningless to say that beauty has to do nothing with subjective response or it is completely objective.

My opiinion about the statement is that beauty is more of subjective than objective.
