How the blood flow to the heart?

How the blood flow to the heart?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Blood enters the heart through two large veins, the inferior and superior vena cava, emptying oxygen-poor blood from the body into the right atrium of the heart. As the atrium contract, blood flows from your right atrium into your right ventricle through the open tricuspid valve.

The heart receives its own supply of blood from the coronary arteries. Two major coronary arteries branch off from the aorta near the point where the aorta and the left ventricle meet. These arteries and their branches supply all parts of the heart muscle with blood.
