[Oral part] Hi. This is a question for my summer neuroscience class.
Q: Why is the paradigmatic axis so important to understanding how language(s) are structured and provide insight into neurological mappings?
Paradigmatic relations are the sematic relation between the words that can be substituted with other words. As an example ' i hunt a bear ' this sentence can be entirely substituted by other words .
The paradigmatic axis dip downwards if there is no substitutions, similarities and differences available in the sentence by language. Through the selection paradigmatic axis encode meanings." The axis allows the addressees to understand an utterance by decoding the sentence on the combination axis with unconscious reference to the selection one".
