line of defence against any microbial invasion or injury.
Assessment of skin is very important in ruling our or diagnosing a

moistness, lesions, vascular changes and edema.
When the skin is insufficiently perfused or the arterial supply to
the skin is impaired it shows pallor. The pallor in brown skinned
people appears as yellow brown while that in dark skinned or black
people appears as dull, ashen or gray.
