b. Round ligament exits pelvis through inguinal ring, passes through inguinal canal and continue to labia majora. Ovarian ligament is from upper part of ovary and infundibulum of fallopian tube.

c. Round ligament develops from the gubernaculum where it is attached to gonads to labioscrotal swellings in the embryo. Ovarian ligament is directed upwards over the iliac vessel.
