  1. Very simple
  2. Quick to perform

Limitations

  1. Not so accurate as other method.Changes in skin , temperature will affect the conduction.
  2. Population and equipment specific.
  3. Tend to overestimate body fat in very lean , muscular people .

3) Skinfolds

Benefits

  1. Inexpensive
  2. Information on body fat distribution.

Limitations

  1. Prediction of body fat is dependent on specific equation's assumption.
  2. Difficult to make measure of very obese individual.
  3. Discomfort or pain during measuring.
